Are you a certified appraiser?
No. I am an independent market-value consultant.
I do not provide USPAP-compliant appraisals used for court, tax, or insurance filings. If you need a formal legal appraisal, I will refer you to a credentialed appraiser.
Most families do not need court-grade reports - they need clear, realistic guidance for everyday decisions.
How is your service different from an estate sale company?
Estate sale companies focus on liquidating property.
My role is to help you first understand:
What is truly worth selling
What is not worth the effort
The best selling paths for each item
My advice is independent and research-based, not tied to a sale.
How long does a typical appointment take?
This depends on the scope:
Single-item valuations: 30–60 minutes
In-home walkthroughs: 1–3 hours
Full estate projects: Half-day or full-day
I will recommend the right level of service after an initial discussion.
Do you give exact prices?
I provide realistic market value ranges, based on current and historical comparable sales.
This reflects how the real market works with final prices depend on timing, venue, and buyer demand.
Can you help sell items after valuation?
Yes. I offer optional resale assistance through appropriate platforms after the valuation phase.
This is always discussed separately so the valuation remains objective.
Do you charge for travel?
Bend-local travel is included.
For extended distances, a clearly defined travel fee applies and is always disclosed in advance.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. Professional research-based services require preparation, travel, and reporting time.
Minimums ensure I can provide thorough, accurate work for every client.
